Budding equine artists discovered at Laytown Races
This year’s Laytown races fixture unveiled some budding equine artists from pupils at Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh and Scoil Oilibheir Naofa national schools, through a racing-themed colouring competition. Over forty entries were received from pupils from the Laytown schools which were displayed at the beach race meeting on Thursday September 8.
Chloe Ryder, Ollie Lukasiewicz, Doireann Brophy, Olivia Rowley, Nisi Ajao, Eimear Brandsma, Nevayah Hegarty, Celine Duffy, Conor Redden came out on top in their age categories while artwork from 10 pupils Alicia Wiskneskra, Sophie doyle, Molly Molloy, Polly Bartley, Bernice Tung, Sofia Sandor, Matteo Nigor, Abigail Stafford, Robyn Carolina and Conall Downey was highly commended.
